Gambler Zero is a mechanical spin type rubber, generating spin exclusively via grip. Zero’s non-tacky surface is ideal for away table play or flat hitting (just like Japan or Euro rubber). This product has been upgraded from it’s original sponge to our medium Oh-Toro sponge. Zero is geared more for the intermediate to beginner player, but it is still very capable of generating high speed and spin.
• Speed: 94
• Spin: 88
• Control: 97
• Sponge Type: Gambler “Oh-Toro” Japanese MID 37+-2
• Spin Type: Mechanical (100% Mechanical)
Note: Better performance than typical Chinese brands, similar in play to traditional Sriver® or Mark V®.

Have this in 1.7. Great rubber. Very light. Pretty balanced…I’d say the ratings are spot on except 88 might be a little low on spin. It’s a little higher in my opinion. No problem generating tons of spin. Only downside for me is it has a higher throw than I expected and am used to. Higher throw than Mech-Tek Predator, for comparison, which is the other newer Gambler rubber I’ve tried.

Great rubber. I like the balance of spin and speed you can generate. I use the 2.1 for forehands and find it offers a great balance of control, speed, and spin. Highly recommend.

I use 1.7 for both Red and Black. ZERO has lots of control with nice speed. Not a lot of spin, but it has decent amount of spin. Very satisfied.

Fantastic rubber. I had this paired with Gambler Fire Dragon Touch blade. Great balance with spin and speed.
