Volt-M is an aggressive mechanical rubber perfect for players who prefer a bouncy rubber with a high grip feeling. Volt-M uses a taller pip geometry arranged in a diagonal array giving enhanced ability to hold the ball longer and catapult effect. Volt-M is a small batch premium rubber, created by selecting only the best cuts of our exclusive Gambler Japanese “Oh-Toro” sponge and combining with our proprietary formulated top sheet. Volt-M characteristics are closely associated with the “European style” of play, or alternatively “Chinese style” backhand.

Use of Tuners: Just like the top Japanese rubbers Volt-M actually will get slower after tuning. Gambler generally does not recommend the use of tuners with this high performance rubber, however after a week of play post tuner the rubber picks back the original speed and a touch more spin. If you must use tuner only use paraffin based formulas NEVER (regular baby oil) mineral oil based tuners.

Fast-ish, but not nearly tensor-fast. Needs to be combined with a very fast blade to get you up to the winning speeds. Otherwise, a nice, lightweight rubber.
