Every Fire Dragon has 2 layers of proprietary *high modulus carbon interwoven with multi stranded tempered filament (F.L.C). F.L.C expands the optimal striking surface and gives the blade optimum flex recovery even at the highest professional levels all while maintaining touch and feel.
4 outer layers of high grade Limba and Koto followed by *high modulus carbon interwoven with multi stranded tempered filament (F.L.C)., Inner core of high grade select clearwood.
Carbon layers are placed closer to the core to provide an overall soft feel while maintaining the kick of carbon, Fire Dragon Touch is a very nimble blade with notable flex and kick.
The penhold version has a different graphic and lens than the standard Fire Dragon series, however it is the same product.

I got the Fire Dragon Touch… I’ve played with a handful of other high end and well known blades… Which makes me sure of myself in recommending this blade… It’s a great blade. I’ve used a couple other gambler blades as well… and this one is the best by far in my opinion. It has great control and great speed/power if you have the right technique.. Highly recommended.

Perfect blade, feeling like a Donic Appelgren Allplay V 1 with a heavy booster by the apparently Kevlar Carbon fiber (Aramid weave) Played with many blades over a strech of 4 decades. I have the following rating Feeling 9.5, Speed 8.0, Control 9.0. This blade is easily compared with the Apolonia Tiago and Lui Shiwen only lighter. NO REGRETS. The handle ST is thin but if Gambler adapts the handle model tothe Donic Appelgren ST it would be a home run hitter for Gambler.4stars is given.

Could not be happier with this blade. This might have just replaced my Stiga Clipper (which costs twice as much) as my all time favorite penhold blade.
First off the finish is top notch. The outer wood plies felt almost glass slick. Just very nice. The handle for a penhold is perhaps my favorite part. The thickness/roundness of the handle is very skinny which makes it as comfortable of a penhold as I’ve ever held.
Now to the fun stuff. This blade has good flex which is great for spin but no vibrations that I felt. Feels very controlled. You should be able to open up with soft loops on backspin balls with the utmost confidence knowing that ball will hit the table. The speed of the blade is right in that sweet-spot for me. Certainly when you go for a ball, it’ll be fast no question about it. But when you need to play a touch or drop shot, you’ll be able to keep those balls short. That’s harder to do with super fast blades that want to zip everything off the table.
All in all I couldn’t be more impressed and I highly recommend checking this one out.

Received the Fire Dragon Touch blade few weeks back after a long time played with Butterfly Zhang Jike ALC and have been playing with these blade every day. It is medium fast blade with medium/hard wood feel. Good for loop, smash, push and serve with very good control.
Thanks Zeropong.

I recently switched to this blade and I really like it. It is a pretty fast blade, kind of like Butterfly Timo Boll ALC, but it has a bit more control, which makes it also easy to play defense as well as offense. I have used Butterfly Timo Boll ALC for two years and Butterfly Zhang Jike for one year before I switched to this blade. I gained a lot more speed and power using this blade because of the good speed it provides and that it is also a bit heavier which generates a bit more momentum for my stroke. This is definitely a great deal given the good quality and compare to other ~$200 blades that are of similar quality.

The craftsmanship of this blade is amazing. I equipped it with the new butterfly rozena rubber.
All I can say is this blade is fast and have amazing control. The spin and speed of the ball when looping was very low on my opponents side causing him/her make a lot of unforced errors. Try this blade out you will be amazed 🙂

I’ve had the fire touch for a month, it’s a great blade. Since it has inner layered fiber, the blade has great control when it comes to short pushes and defense. However, it doesn’t take a lot of effort to get your power through to the fiber layer with proper strokes. It’s definitely not as fast as blades with outer layered fiber, but it’s not slow either. I have hurricane 3 neo on the forehand and gambler shadow on the back hand, I’m pleased with the setup.
The blade is larger than other brands but doesn’t feel too much heavier. I will definitely recommend this blade to intermediate to advanced players. Beginners are probably better off with a 5 ply wood blade.

I have been using this blade (with Burst Oh-Toro on both sides) for the past six months, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Control and feel are excellent, and power is ample. Fit and finish are of a very high standard. The price is fantastic compared to its competition.

Fantastic blade. I was previously using a Dynasty Hinoki blade since 2014. Using this blade, it had great control and I had more precision on my attacks. I was initially thinking of getting the fire dragon hinoki, but I am glad I chose this.

Great blade. Best blade I’ve tried from Gambler. I would consider this a control carbon blade and has enough feeling in it that I can recommend this to any level of play from beginner to advanced.
Many do not like the thin handle and I didn’t like it either, but after using it for over a year and my game improving the thin handle is great and has grown on me.
