Exotic Wingwood IM8 Carbon is a one of a kind beauty 5 plies of high grade slow cured wood and 2 layers of IM8 carbon. WW IM8 has an incredible balance, high degree of flexibility. Ideal for players who use want maximum feeling and use spin as a primary weapon. Wingwood is highly regarded as a material that positively increases the spin of all rubbers. This blade features cypress and Ayous in addition to the outer ply of Wingwood. The IM8 carbon is located below the 2nd ply on each side of the blade. This blade is thermo-pressure sealed, a light satin lacquer is baked into the top layer then lightly polished to help prevent splintering, we advise not to add more sealant to this blade.

Nice touch in the short game, service game, and touch shots, plays like an All+ blade in these areas, which is a good thing.
Great blade for looping, slow loops, power loops, loop kills. Plays like an Off- blade in the power game, fast blocks, drives, kills, and loops, which is a good thing.
This blade is ever so slightly larger than a standard blade. About the same length as an AC hero, but a couple of mm wider. It’s not big enough to call oversize. For me it is just the right size, I love the balance and the handle.
At the time of this writing, my favorite blade, which I use full time. For me it’s better than the AC Hero, Arylate/Carbon, and MegaWeave blades, all of which I’ve used in the past.
